Choosing a plastic surgeon: for many, it’s as easy as becoming a referral from a friend who had a neat experience. For others, it’s a daunting task – in particular when there’s no one to seek a referral from.
As luck would have it, there are many guidelines that prospective people who are in need of medical care may follow when choosing a plastic surgeon. The following considerations must serve as a checklist:
Board corroboration: is the doctor certified by the american board of plastic surgery (abps)? Many doctors post the claim of “board certified plastic surgeon” on their sites; notwithstanding, they may be outdated or inaccurate. Board corroboration in another medical specialty scarcely qualifies a doctor to carry out your cosmetic or reconstructive routine, so be certain that his/her corroboration is with the abps.
